Buffy - Bring on the Night

Giles: We're back at square one.
Xander: Which square would that be, exactly?
Giles: I'm not sure. The First predates everything we've ever known. Or can know. It's everywhere, it's pure. I don't know if we can fight it.
Buffy: You're right. We don't know how to fight it. We don't know when it'll come. [We] can't run, can't hide... can't pretend it's not the end 'cause it is. Something has always... been there to try and destroy the world. We've... beaten them back, but we're not dealing with them anymore. We're dealing with the reason they exist. Evil. The strongest. The First.
Giles: Buffy, I, um... I-I know you're... you're tired...
Buffy: I'm beyond tired. I'm beyond scared. I'm standing on the mouth of Hell and it is going to swallow me whole. And it'll choke on me. We're not ready? They're not ready. They think we're gonna wait for the end to come, like we always do. I'm done waiting. They want an apocalypse? Well, we'll give 'em one. Anyone else who wants to run, do it now, 'cause we just became an army. We just declared war. From now on, we won't just face our worst fears, we will seek them out. We will find them, and cut out their hearts, one by one, until the First shows itself for what it really is. And I'll kill it myself. There is only one thing on this earth more powerful than evil. Giles: Voltamos a estaca zero.
Xander: Qual estaca seria exatamente?
Giles: Nãotenho certeza. O Primeiro antecede tudo que conhecemos. Ou podemos saber. Está em toda parte, É puro. Não sei se podemos lutar contra isso.
Buffy: Você tem razão. Não sabemos como enfrentá-lo. Não sabemos quando ele virá. Não podemos correr, não podemos nós esconder... não podemos fingir que não é o fim porque é. Sempre tem algo... algo tentanto destruir o mundo. Nós ... Batemos de volta, mas não estamos mais lidando com eles. Nós estamos lidando com a razão deles existirem. Mal. O mais forte. O Primeiro.
Giles: Buffy, Eu, hum... Eu-eu sei você está... Você está cansada...
Buffy: Estou alem do cansaço. Além do medo. Estou em cima da boca do inferno e ela irá me devorar. E ela vai engasgar comigo. Não estamos prontos? Eles também não estão. Eles pensam que vamos esperar pelo fim, como sempre fazemos. Eu cansei de esperar. Eles querem um apocalipse? Bem, Nós lhe daremos um. Quem quiser correr, faça isso agora, porque nós nos tornamos um exército. Nós declaramos guerra. De agora em diante, iremos encarar nosso pior pesadelo, vamos persegui-los. Iremos acha-los, e costar seus corações, um por um, até o Primeiro se mostrar como ele é. E eu mesma o matarei. Há apenas uma coisa na terra mais poderosa que o mal. E somos nós. Alguma pergunta?
